NEW FOR PRMF 2017: INTRODUCING ROOF D

If we’ve learnt anything over the past few years, with the arrival of Franks in 2008, and Bussey Building’s rooftop bar and cinema following suit in 2014; it’s that Peckham really loves a rooftop. So we decided to follow a certain trend, putting on three day parties over the opening weekend on none other than Bussey Building’s lesser used Roof D. We’re really doing the place up; equipped with a full Funktion 1 sound system, bar, and seating area. In fact, we’re the first to use the roof space for a party like this, so in joining us you’ll be one of the first to access one of Peckham’s most elusive, lesser known locations.

Starting the weekend off right is fellow festival goers Field Maneuvers, bringing Small People from Hamburg to the rooftop for an all-day celebration of DIY music. Expect to find some dancefloor heavyweights such as Iona and Miro Sundaymusiq playing from 3:00pm ‘til 10:00pm.

Continuing the party on Saturday from 2:00pm will be Peckham based label Church, who will be providing you with some deep house from their label residents Apes, Hollick, and Seb Wildblood. Rounding off the evening will be Axel Bowman with his playfully energetic house, providing a melodic background to the sun going down over Roof D.

Finally, First Word are returning to PRMF after a rousing success inside Copeland Gallery last year, closing up Roof D with a variety of hip-hop, funk and beats from the likes of K15, Children of Zeus, DJ Gillo and Profusion until 9:00pm.

There will be limited capacity for Roof D, so make sure you get down early to avoid disappointment. You can get your day or weekend tickets here.
See you on the rooftop!
